The Resource Training Center is pleased to announce the Recovery Coaching & Peer Training at
Christopher’s Reason our Staten Island location.
For Recovery Coach Training:
Time:9:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. - All Day
No certificates issued for partial completion.
Cost: The cost of the five (5) day training is $300.00

Recovery Coaches:
- Offer anon-clinical, empowerment-based support for persons in or seeking recovery from addiction.
- Help to initiate and sustain an individual/family in their recovery by linking them to their own community and other recovery friendly supports.
- Promote recovery by removing barriers and obstacles to recovery
- Serve as a personal guide and mentor for people seeking, or already in sustained recovery.
This five-day CCAR and OASAS approved non-clinical training will cover the New York State Recovery-
Oriented System of Care (ROSC) and the Connecticut Center for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) model for peer
specialist roles and responsibilities.
For Peer Advocate Training:
2023 Scheduled Classes
16 hours of Ethics, 7 hours of MATS and 8 hours of MHFA

Cost: The Cost of the three (3) day training is $175.00
Medication Assistant Treatment:
August 3rd

Cost: The Cost of One (1) day Training is $100.00
Mental Health First Aid:
